Today, I had the dull, mediocre experience in watching the S5 finale of MLP:FiM. What does this have to do with the title? Well, the plot and concepts of said episodes force this former brony to show his hand. Still confused? Here's what I mean:
Waaay back when Season 3 was breaking the fanbase, I myself saw IMHO was dipping in quality. To me, there were a plethora of negative aspects that began to outweigh positives and it looked like it wasn't going to recover save for a spatter of quality episodes that knew how to keep focus/utilize its elements effectively and efficiently (I tip my hat and raise my glass Maud Pie).
